Chewy Chocolate Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. water
8 oz. semisweet chocolate
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 9x13 pan.
Bring sugar, butter and water to a boil.
(Microwave works well.)
Add chocolate and stir until melted.
Add eggs, vanilla and mix well.
Add dry ingredients.
Bake 16-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out sticky.
