Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can beef broth
    1 (5 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    4 potatoes, cut in half
    1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
    2 medium size onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    2 lb. stewing beef
    5 carrots, cut up
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Do not brown beef.
    Put all ingredients in casserole.
    Put bay leaf on top.
    Cook in oven at 300\u00b0, covered.
    Do not peek.
