Old-Fashioned Egg Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sweet milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    In a heavy pot, bring milk almost to a boil.
    Remove from heat and sprinkle in nutmeg to taste.
    Beat eggs and to them add sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
    Add hot milk to egg mixture.
    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
    Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
