Frozen Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (20 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained
    3/4 c. celery, diced
    2 1/2 c. chopped apples (leave some skin for color)
    1 1/2 c. seedless grapes, cut in half
    1/2 c. or more chopped walnut or pecans
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    3/4 c. pineapple juice
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place the eggs, pineapple juice, sugar and salt in a saucepan and blend and cook until it boils.
    Cool.
