Fresh Peach Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or oleo
    2 c. very ripe mashed \"fresh\" peaches
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped nuts (your choice)
    2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    For Cake:
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add soda to buttermilk.
    Then stir into first mixture, alternately with flour and salt.
    Add peaches and nuts.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Let cool.
