Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in milk.
Sift together and stir 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and salt.
The mixture for the struedel is the brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon and butter.
Spread half batter mixture in greased pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 streusel mixture.
Alternate rest.
Bake in greased and floured pan 25 to 35 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Double batter for 13 x 11 x 2-inch pan.
