Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. black walnuts
Preparation
    Have
    all ingredients at room temperature.
    Sift flour, baking powder
    and salt.
    Cream butter and sugar until silvery and light. Add
    eggs,
    one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine milk and vanilla, then add to cream mixture alternately with flour mixture.
    Be sure to begin and end with dry ingredients.
    Beat\tonly
    enough
    to blend.
    Fold in nuts. Spoon batter
    into
    greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for
    50
    to
    60 minutes or until done.
    Cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove.
