Ingredients

1 c. bacon fat
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix bacon fat, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs until creamy. Add dry ingredients, vanilla and nuts.
Divide and mold into 2 rolls.
Wrap in waxed paper and chill until stiff.
Slice and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
