Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 red peppers
    2 green peppers
    2 1/4 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    10 c. squash
    4 c. onions
Preparation
    Mix squash and onions.
    Stir in 5 tablespoons of salt.
    Let soak overnight.
    In morning, drain and rinse off.
    Put in large kettle.
    Add all ingredients.
    Cook 1/2 hour and put in jars. Really good.
