Glazed Acorn Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 acorn squash
    1/3 c. fresh orange juice
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut off ends of squash.
    Slice crosswise into 1-inch rings and remove seeds.
    Place in a single layer in large, shallow baking dish and add orange juice.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Combine brown sugar and remaining ingredients; simmer 5 minutes. Pour over squash rings and bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer, basting occasionally.
