Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    vinegar
    sugar
    oil of cloves
Preparation
    Cut both end off of the cucumbers. Stand up right in gal. containers (may use tupperware cake boxes). Cover completely with vinegar. Let stand 21 days; dump into sink. Wash vinegar off. Slice pickles. Use 2 c. pickles to 1 c. sugar. Add 3 drops oil of cloves. Fill gal. jug. Tighten caps. Ready\tto eat. Keeps forever.
