Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/4 c. flour
    4 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cooked wild rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. half and half
    minced parsley
    4 oz. can mushrooms or fresh
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Blend in flour.
    Add broth.
    Cook and stir until it thickens.
    Stir in wild rice; blend in half and half and mushrooms and soup (cooked chicken may be added).
