Date Filled Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
4 1/2 c. flour
dash of salt
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. whole milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Combine all ingredients into a dough mixture.
Put in freezer before cutting out with round cookie cutter.
Flour cookie sheet.
