English Muffin Loaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 1/2 to 6 c. flour, divided
2 pkg. yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
cornmeal
Preparation

In large bowl, combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda; set aside.
In medium saucepan, combine milk and water and heat until very warm (115\u00b0 to 120\u00b0).
Add to flour mixture gradually, beating until batter is smooth.
Gradually add the remaining flour.
