Strawberry Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, sliced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/2 (10-inch) angel food cake, torn in pieces
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Dissolve the jello in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar and salt. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in whipped cream. Cover bottom of a 9-inch pan with 1/2 of the torn pieces of cake.
    Pour over half of the strawberry cream mixture. Add another layer of remaining cake pieces and pour remaining strawberry cream mixture on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
