Summer Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. oil
    3 c. coarsely grated yellow squash or zucchini
    1 medium onion, grated
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients, beating until smooth. Stir in squash; add onion and pepper. Drop by tablespoon into a hot greased skillet. Cook until golden brown, turning once. Drain. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
