Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. scalded buttermilk
1 c. shortening
3 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar together.
Add buttermilk and shortening (scalded).
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Stir into flour mixture.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Knead on floured surface; shape into desired rolls.
Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
Let rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned.
