Pear Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. yogurt (plain) or buttermilk
1 c. pears, peeled and cut up thin
Preparation

Cream margarine, gradually beat in sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Combine all dry ingredients.
Add to egg mixture, alternating with yogurt.
Stir in pears and vanilla.
Pour into buttered dish or loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
