Diabetic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. oats
    1 tsp. liquid sweetener
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine raisins and water; simmer 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add beaten egg, softened shortening and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Add oats and sweetener.
    Add flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
    Mix well. Pour into 1 layer cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
