Ken'S Quahaugs Casino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doz. small to medium quahaugs
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 stick butter
    1 c. flavored bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. white wine
    about 6 slices raw bacon
    red pepper to taste
    parsley
Preparation
    Open quahaug and split in half.
    Loosen completely from shell, cutting
    through
    muscle.
    Saute onion in butter until yellow. Remove
    from heat;
    add the other ingredients and mix well.
    Cool slightly,
    then
    firmly pat about a tablespoon on top
    of each quahaug half (in shell).
    Sprinkle red pepper and parsley
    on top.
    Top
    each
    one with 1/4 slice of raw bacon. Place
    in
    large shallow
    pan
    and
    bake
    in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
