Velma'S Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
    1 qt. milk (low-fat, if desired)
    4 slices white bread, some of the crust removed and torn into small pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Separate 2 of the eggs and put the whites in a dry, clean bowl and set aside.
    Put the egg yolks and remaining whole eggs in a large bowl.
    Put the milk in a saucepan and add the bread and butter.
    Heat the mixture until the milk is hot and the butter is melted, stirring.
