Sugar Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1/2 c. cold water
    3 c. walnut halves
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, honey, and water in a pan and cook until it reaches soft ball stage (238 degrees). Remove from heat and add nuts and vanilla. Stir until syrup becomes creamy and thick. Turn onto waxed paper to harden, then break into pieces. Spices to taste may also be added.
