Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can coconut
    1 c. chopped nuts
    5 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cream margarine and shortening.
    Add sugar.
    Beat well.
    Add egg yolks.
    Combine flour and soda; add to mixture along with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla.
    Add coconut and nuts.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in 3 pans at 250\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Top with Cream Cheese Frosting.
