Brandied Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. diced, drained canned peaches
    1 c. drained maraschino cherries
    1 c. drained pineapple tidbits
Preparation
    Combine.
    Stir thoroughly and daily for 3 weeks so sugar does not settle.
    Do not let mixture go below 1 cup; every other week, add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup fruit.
    Excellent over ice cream or cake.
