Ingredients

4 qt. beets, cooked
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. pickling spices
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water (strained beets water)
Preparation

Cook beets and put in jars.
Pour combined remaining ingredients over beets.
Cold-pack 5 minutes.
