Cooked Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix together the flour and sugar and set aside.
Mix together the cocoa, Crisco, butter and water.
Bring to a boil, then pour over flour and sugar.
Mix together the buttermilk, soda, vanilla and eggs.
Add to the mixture.
Pour in 11 x 16-inch greased pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
Start making frosting 5 minutes before cake is done.
