Bird Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

25 birds
6 lb. potatoes (1/2 cut small, the other 1/2 large)
2 lb. onions
4 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
2 (14 oz.) bottles Heinz catsup (add when nearly done)
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. black pepper
2 large apples (cooking apples)
2 large dry pepper pods
4 Tbsp. salt
5 tomato cans water
1/4 lb. butter (last)
2 pt. cream (last)
Preparation

Cook until birds are done and the meat begins to fall from bones.
Add half of the catsup and Worcestershire sauce after it has cooked 45 minutes and the other half about 1/2 hour before it is done.
Then, the flavor cooks into the meat.
