Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
dash of salt
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small can Angel Flake coconut
1 (8-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add beaten egg yolks. Stir in milk; cook over slow heat until thick.
Add vanilla and coconut.
Save enough coconut to put on top of egg whites.
Beat egg whites.
Add 1/4 cup sugar gradually.
Place in preheated 350\u00b0 oven and bake until golden brown.
