Pennsylvania Dutch Pepper Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cabbage, finely shredded
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 carrot or red pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine cabbage, celery and peppers.
    In a small bowl, combine sugar, salt, water and vinegar.
    Taste mixture to be sure you have enough vinegar.
    Pour over vegetables and toss.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Easy to do; even better the next day.
