Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped or coarsely grated, unpeeled apples
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation

Blend sugar and apples; let stand 30 minutes.
Add beaten egg, oil and vanilla to apple-sugar mixture.
Add all dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 7 x 11 x 2-inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes.
