Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. butter
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped red or green pepper
1 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 lb. okra, cut into 1/2-inch slices
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Chop onion, red or green peppers, peel and chop tomatoes and slice the okra.
Heat oil and butter in heavy nonstick skillet. Add onion and pepper.
Cook over medium heat until onion is soft but not brown.
Add tomatoes and okra.
Stir well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until okra is tender.
