Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    7/8 c. ginger ale or similar soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Stir in eggs and extracts.
    Beat in flour and ginger ale, alternating the two.
    Pour batter into 2 (9 x 5-inch) pans that have been greased and floured.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
