Stove Top Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice (do not use Minute rice)
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 qt. milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cook rice in boiling water for 7 minutes.
    Add milk and oleo. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat eggs and sugar; add vanilla.
    Add raisins.
    Stir slowly into cooked rice. Put in bowl.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
