Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 cucumbers
    1/2 c. coarse salt
    2 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 cloves garlic
    4 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. mixed pickling spice
    10 sprigs dill
Preparation
    Wash and dry cucumbers
    and arrange in a crock or jar.
    Bring salt and water to a boil.
    Cool, then add vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, mustard and pickling spices.
    Pour over cucumbers. Arrange dill over all.
    Liquid should completely cover cucumbers. If not, add more salt water.
    Keep in a cool place for one week.
