Sour Cream Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 cup dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add sour cream; mix to form a soft dough.
    Turn out on well floured surface and knead gently for about 20 seconds.
    Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
    Cut with biscuit cutter dipped in flour and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
