Cream Of Oyster Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. oysters
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
4 c. light cream
2 Tbsp. whipped cream
Preparation

Chop and scald oysters in their liquid.
Blend butter and flour and add slowly to cream heated in double-boiler.
Stir until this is thickened and smooth, then add oysters and their juices.
Just before serving soup, stir in the whipped cream.
