Sweet Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head red cabbage, shredded
1/2 c. vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
2 large bay leaves
sprinkling of pepper
1 Tbsp. butter

Preparation
-
Cook cabbage until just tender with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup water.
Retain 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook about 5 minutes and let stand.
Heat when ready to serve.
