Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter over low heat.
Remove
and
stir
in brown sugar. Stir well.
Cool and stir in
eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together and stir in, then add
vanilla and nuts.
Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at
350\u00b0
for
20 to 25 minutes or when lightly touched with
finger in center, slight imprint remains.
Cut while warm.
