Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 box 10x sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 c. cherries (optional)
    1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix and bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 minutes in a large tube pan. Spread with butter still hot from the oven.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
