Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 stick melted butter or margarine
Preparation
-
Pour boiling water over oats and let stand 20 minutes.
Mix together next 6 ingredients and add well beaten eggs.
Add melted butter or margarine.
Beat and pour in greased pan.
Bake 30 or 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
