Baked Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean stew
    2 c. onions, diced
    2 c. potatoes, quartered
    2 c. carrots, cut in chunks
    2 c. celery, cut large
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    5 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 c. V-8 juice
Preparation
    Place in Dutch oven with tight fitting lid in the order listed.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    (No browning necessary.
    When done, gravy is brown and thick.)
