Rice Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    3 lb. chicken gizzards, chopped
    1/4 lb. ground beef
    1/4 lb. ground pork
    3/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 c. cooked rice
    5 c. water
    1 c. chopped onion tops
    1/2 c. parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown gizzards in oil real well.
    Add pork and beef and brown. Add dabs of water at intervals to prevent burning until pork and beef is brown.
    Add bell pepper, onion and celery.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Add 1 to 2 cups of water and simmer for about an hour.
    Then add cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
    Add onions and parsley and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
