Sausage Bean Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried lima beans
    3 c. water
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped coarsely
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Sort and wash lima beans.
    Put in a large saucepan with 3 cups water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat, cover and let soak 1 hour.
    Place beans over medium heat until tender. Add more water if necessary.
    Combine sausage, onion, celery and green pepper in a large skillet.
    Cook until sausage is brown. Stir into crumbles; drain.
    Add seasoning.
    Stir well.
    Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
