Yellow Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 egg
    saltine crackers
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion until tender; drain thoroughly.
    Add margarine and egg.
    Mash with potato masher until well mixed.
    Add cheese and enough cracker crumbs to hold mixture together.
    Make into patties and brown on both sides in skillet with hot grease.
