Refrigerated Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. salt
    onion and green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Boil sugar, white vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed and cool.
    Wash and slice pickles.
    Add salt.
    Let set 1 hour and drain.
    (Optional:
    You can add onion and green pepper.)
    Pour cooled mixture over pickles and put in containers.
    Ready to eat in a week.
