Golden Treasure Cake - cooking recipe

6 eggs
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. sugar, plus 2 Tbsp., divided
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. Watkins orange flavored unsweetened punch concentrate
1 tsp. Watkins lemon extract
3/4 tsp. Watkins rum extract
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. Watkins vanilla dessert mix
2 Tbsp. apricot preserves
1 1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. Watkins orange extract
1/2 tsp. Watkins rum extract
1 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Separate eggs, placing whites in large mixer bowl, yolks in small mixer bowl.
Add cream of tartar to whites; beat at high speed until foamy.
Gradually add 3/4 cup of the sugar; beat until stiff.
To yolks, add flour, 3/4 cup sugar plus 2 tablespoons sugar, salt, water, orange concentrate and extracts.
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 1 minute at medium.
Pour over whites. By hand, fold batter gently and thoroughly into whites, just until well blended.
Pour into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0
for 50 to 55 minutes, until top springs back when touched lightly, invert and cool.
