Potato Tuna Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    2 medium carrots, peeled and diced
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 can tuna, drained
    4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    minced parsley
Preparation
    Melt butter in large saucepan.
    Saute onion until transparent. Add potatoes, carrots, celery and 2 cups water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring constantly.
    Add tuna and milk.
    Heat through. Season to taste and serve sprinkled with parsley.
    Serves 8.
