Pecan Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Combine with other ingredients. Grease sheet cake pan and pat flour mixture down into pan. Beat the egg white until frothy and spread over top of mixture. Chop the nuts and pat into mixture. Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0. Cut while hot.
