Cheesy Ham And Potato Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. celery, thin sliced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 c. milk
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 c. cubed potatoes
1/4 c. onion, diced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 c. cooked ham, cubed
Preparation

In a Dutch oven, bring water to a boil.
Add salt and pepper. Add vegetables.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are done.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Boil for 1 minute.
Add cheese and stir until melted. Slowly stir cheese mixture into vegetables.
Add ham and stir well.
Serves 6.
