Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    4 whole eggs
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Brown butter in skillet to develop the rich flavor; remove from fire, add sugar and beat in the whole eggs one at a time.
    Add syrup and nuts.
    Add 1 tsp. vanilla if desired.
    Pour into uncooked pastry.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40-50 minutes, until custard sets and is browned.
    Makes 1 large or 2 small pies.
